Rodeo action coming up at Imbil show
CATCH Queensland’s best rodeo action at the Mary Valley Show Rodeo and Woodchop on August 23 at the Imbil Showgrounds in the picturesque Mary Valley.

The maximum points rodeo kicks off at 8am, with the thrilling bull and bronc rides after lunch showing off some of the best competitors from Queensland and New South Wales.

At this rodeo you get everything from the junior bull ride and barrel race to bucking broncs.

But if you want to have a casual ride, the mechanical bucking bull will be a great chance for amateurs to prove their stuff, from midday to 5pm.
Visit the show pavilion all day from 8.30am-4.30pm to see the arts and crafts and schools displays, or catch some of the world’s best woodchoppers in the annual championships.
Children will love side show alley, and there will be plenty of hamburgers, chips, strawberries and cream available.
Great rides are part of the kids’ entertainment, and they can enjoy face painting, puppet shows, rides on the hot rods and the bungy trampoline.
And if you want to buy at the market stalls, you can choose from hand-painted jeans, hats, cottage crafts and preserves, jewellery and ornaments.
Stage entertainment starts from 5pm, followed by spectacular fireworks at 7.30pm.
Entry is $10 adults and $5 for children 5-14yrs.
